MissionsAt OGBC missions is a very important part of our ministry. There are groups for all ages that focus specifially on missions and our response to God's call for us to be missionaries in our efforts for Him. We plan and participate in mission trips and have "adopted" a missionary, Sarah Rice. Sarah reaches out to the children in the slum areas of Guatemala. A percentage of the OGBC budget goes directly to missions as well as offerings taken for international missions (Lottie Moon Offering), North American missions (Annie Armstrong Offering), Virginia missions (Alma Hunt Offering). and associational missions. All designed to further the gospel of Christ and be a part of the Great Commission of Jesus to "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
